KME sole source, custom
manufactures the broadest family of aerials in the
fire service. With 21 aerial models, KME has an
AerialCat for every departments needs.
We
offer six Rear Mount Ladder aerials ranging from 75
to 121 with 500, 750, and 1000lb tip loads. KME
ladder trucks are known for their maneuverability with
the shortest wheelbases and overall lengths and lowest
travel heights in the industry. KMEs E-ControlTM
motion control systems provide unprecendented ease of
control and smooth operation and superior safety
systems. The aerial ladders are constructed of heavy
duty, 80,000psi steel with a 2:1 structural safety
factor. Our aerials are subjected to rigorous proof
load testing and UL certification and KME is the only
manufacturer in the fire service to do this, because
we know that the KME product is unequaled in strength,
stability, and reliability.
