KME offers a full line of ARFF and
RIV vehicles with a global reputation for superior quality and
performance. Rapid Intervention Vehicles are available in a
variety of styles (Class 1, 2, and 3) on various commercial
chassis. ARFF configurations include a 1500 gallon Class 4 and
3000 gallon Class 5 model.
• Class 1, 2, and 3 Rapid
Intervention Vehicles (RIV’s)
• Multiple configurations and commercial chassis
• KP-1500 4x4 or KP-3000 6x6 ARFF
• Seating for 5 with choice of 3 driver’s positions
• Coil spring suspension standard, meeting all FAA and NFPA
standards
• Optional independent suspension with 29,000lb axles (58,000lb
tandem)
• Removable body panels and/or doors for easy access
• Large enclosed compartments for reels, hose lines, and fire
fighting equipment
• Options include dry chemical systems, bumper turrets,
structural fire fighting panels, elevated
waterways, and more |
