KME pumper bodies offer a full range of options including custom plumbing and custom compartmentation and are available in 3/16” aluminum, galvanealed steel, or stainless steel.

Variety of Chassis Available
Choose from a variety of commercial chassis or one of over 300 KME custom chassis in 2 and 4 door styles in 4x2 or 4x4 configurations.  KME offers numerous seating and raised roof options as well as cab air bottle storage, interior EMS compartments, and several short wheelbase options for manueverability in tight areas.
Total Custom Configurations
KME allows fire departments to totally customize their apparatus to meet the unique needs of the protection area. Special extended bumpers with discharges, tools, and winches; custom plumbing including foam and CAFS; flexible compartmentation including body roof compartments; and unique ladder, suction, and tool storage options are all examples of how KME makes custom easy.
Strong Bodies
KME pumper bodies are the strongest available to the fire service.  They utilize fabricated body panels in conjunction with an extruded support structure which provides unsurpassed strength and flexibility.  Bodies are available in aluminum, galvannealed steel, or stainless steel and are thoroughly tested.
