Variety of Chassis Configurations

KME rescues are available on a variety of commercial chassis starting at 15,000lb GVWR in a 4x2 or 4x4 configuration. Heavy duty rescues are available on a variety of commercial chassis or one of over 300 KME custom chassis configurations. KME custom cab configurations include 2 door with rear transverse storage compartment, 3 door command cabs, and 4 door models with multiple seating options.

Interiors have full diamond plate walkways floors and walls and are configurated for a variety of purposes including rehab, command post, EMS/paramedic, and communications. Exterior compartments may be customized with dividers, shelving, brackets, tool boards, or trays. KME’s standard compartments offer plenty of storage including body roof and under body compartments for airbags and cribbing.

Hundreds of options including pumps and water tanks; custom configured bumpers with storage wells for tools, reels, or winches; cascade systems; wide range of air, electric and hydraulic reels; gas, diesel or PTO driven generators from 3,500 to 45,000 watts; as well as special lighting.
