T-Tanker line includes a selection of standard
configurations, and the capabilities to custom design an
apparatus to meet the specific needs of your department.
KME’s T-Tankers are
designed to store a maximum amount of water in a minimal
space with a large array of options. All of our apparatus
are designed to meet NFPA 1901 requirements, keeping the
safety of your firefighters as our top priority. Design
considerations include wheelbase analysis for axle loading
from front to rear, as well as side to side weight
distribution, to provide better vehicle handling for a
safe water delivery system. KME recognizes that fire
departments have unique requirements based on their local
terrain and SOP’s, to help accommodate those requirements
we offer the widest variety of dump valve style and
location options in the industry. Storage space on a
pumper-tanker is critical, KME’s custom body
configurations eliminate “dead” space providing more
