General Overview
Utilizing a long history of
constructing innovative and dependable tankers for both the
petroleum and fire markets, KME offers a “T” type and
elliptical tanker. Tankers are manufactured in a variety of
capacities and configurations, each with the customer’s unique
needs in mind.
KME offers a variety of tank
sizes and styles including t-tank, wetside, and elliptical
tankers. Body styles range from economical saddle mounted
(chassis frame) compartments to full pumper tanker subframe
bodies.
Pumps are available from all
major manufacturers. Ranging in capacities from 250 GPM to
2250 GPM. PTO-driven attack or transfer pumps and midship pumps
are available. Tankers are also available without pumps. |

KME capacities range from 1000 to over 4000 gallons. Tanks
may be constructed of fiberglass, polypropylene, or
stainless steel. Elliptical tanks are available in single
or double (insulated) wall with a painted, brushed, or
bright/skinned finish. |

Utilizing fabricated body panels in conjunction with an
extruded support structure allows KME bodies to not only
be strong, but flexible in their comparment layout.
Compartment options include lowside, high/low, combination
(single airpack), coffin compartments, and economical
saddle mounted storage. |

Tankers serve a variety of needs so KME offers plenty of
options including tank storage (enclosed, drop down,
electric, overhead, and thru the tank), suction and ladder
storage (enclosed, electric, overhead, thru or under the
tank), portable pump mounting with a special compartment
to fit the pumps, as well as thousands of other options. |
