Jack L. Slagle Fire Equipment &

Columbia, SC, has in stock, approximately forty (40) very
nice pre-owned fire, rescue & emergency vehicles.
These units consist of Aerials,
Pumpers, Tankers, Mini & Midi-Pumpers, Rescue & Command
Vehicles, Skid Units, Ambulances and sometimes Chief's cars.
Nearly all units are from the SOUTH and thus have had little
exposure to the road salts that cause rust and corrosion.
Most units range from the mid to
late 1970's on up to the 1990's. However, it's not uncommon
for Slagle's to have a late 1960's or early 1970's vehicle
that has no rust and is in very good mechanical condition.
Most units sold are
Reconditioned before final delivery. That means the unit is
checked over from the front bumper to the tailboard. Needed
repairs are them made before final delivery to the
purchaser. Some units have been Refurbished and look like
new. A current pump test is provided on all Class A (UL
Certified) Pumpers we sell.
